L&L TRI-CLAD
POLYESTER
TAPEL & L TRI-CLAD POLYESTER TAPE is a pressure-sensitive tape used to bridge seams in roofing insulation and construction materials. It creates a watertight seal, eliminating damage due to leaking roofs. L & L TRI-CLAD POLYESTER TAPE is a vapor barrier, which makes it an excellent choice for permanent sealing projects in controlled atmosphere environments; e.g., fumigation containment, air flow management, coolers and freezers.
PRECAUTION: Surface must be clean & free of moisture and contamination. Avoid stretching during application. See manufacturers Material Safety Data Sheet. For industrial & professional use only.
TECHNICAL DATA
APPLICATION: Clean surface removing dust, dirt and moisture. Cut desired length - peel off release liner. Apply exact the first time, centering on ridge board. Guide tape to lowest or most outside edge, working back toward center of tape, removing buckles and air pockets.
APPEARANCE: White polyester fabric, over gray modified butyl rubber adhesive, backed with clear plastic release liner.
BONDING TIME: Immediate aggressive grip. 100% adhesive bond in 24 hours.
ADHESIVE: 20 mil. Modified butyl rubber
APPLICATION TEMPERATURE RANGE: +40° F to 110° F
OPERATING TEMPERATURE RANGE: -10° F to 180° F
LOW TEMPERATURE FLEXIBILITY: Passes with no cracking

TEDLAR
TAPE
L&L Tri-Clad Tedlarâ Tape is a pressure-sensitive tape used to bridge seams and create a watertight seal. This tape acts as a vapor barrier which makes it an excellent choice for permanent sealing projects over metal roof, tanks, pipe insulation, RV's and metal wall seam areas where surface coating is not necessary or applicable.
PRECAUTION: Surface must be clean & free of moisture and contamination. Avoid stretching during application. See manufacturers Material Safety Data Sheet. For industrial & professional use only.
TECHNICAL DATA
APPERANCE: Non-gloss, white backing with gray adhesive sealant.
APPLICATION: Apply over clean, dry surface. Cut desired length, peel off release liner and apply to surface. DO NOT STRETCH when applying. Removal or repositioning will damage tape. Rub down with squeegee or apply heavy pressure to insure tight seal and bond.
BONDING TIME: Immediate aggressive grip. Full bond in 24 hours.
BACKING: 1.5 mil Tedlarâ Film.
ADHESIVE: 33 mil. Gray elastomeric modified butyl rubber.
TEMPERATURES:
APPLICATION: 30° F to 110° F
OPERATING LIMITS: -10° to 180° F
PEEL STRENGTH: 6 lbs. per linear inch.
LOW TEMPERATURE FLEXIBILITY: Passes with no cracking
