PRODUCT DESRIPTION |
PRIMARY USES |
|||
L&L 300 RCM Mastic is a high-solids, waterborne, elastomeric coating. Its high permeability coupled with optimum brightness greatly reduces the occurrence of polyurethane foam blisters (delamination) which frequently develop when existing polyurethane foam has been compromised by water intrusion, then re-coated. L&L 300 RCM Mastic is engineered to allow entrapped moisture vapor to escape through its membrane. Its bright white reflective surface reduces surface temperature, and in turn, minimizes vapor drive. While L&L 300 RCM Mastic has many other uses, it was designed specifically for re-coating existing polyurethane roof decks. |

VISCOSITY L&L 300 Mastic is manufactured in three thixotropic viscosities: 4 "Light" brush, roller & airless spray grade4 "Standard" brush, roller & airless spray grade4 Trowel and palm gradeWhen choosing viscosity range, consider factors such as surface profile and porosity, required film thickness and application methods. |
RECOMMENDED SUBSTRATE CONDITIONS Repair substrate and replace blistered polyurethane foam in accordance with the society of Plastics Industry (Spray Polyurethane Foam Division) recommended design consideration and guide specification. All surfaces to be coated must be clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, grease, mildew, rust, wax, chalking or peeling coatings and any foreign matter, which could prevent proper adhesion. Never apply to surfaces which pond water. We recommend L&L POWER PREP + as a pre-wash cleaner. It is fast and efficient and leaves no residue. |
