L&L 300 Mastic is a high-build, waterborne, elastomeric barrier coating. Its unique blend of premium acrylic resins and pigments combine to form a durable, mildew-resistant film with exceptional adhesion and flexibility. L&L 300 is a breathing mastic which allows damaging substrate moisture to escape, while protecting against ultra-violet, water and air-flow intrusion. |

SPECIALTY GRADES L&L 300 Mastic UL Classified : Meets Underwriters Laboratories 790 as a Class-A spray-applied foam and coating system. (Refer to UL Building Material Directory for conditions to qualify as an "A-rated system."L&L 300 Mastic EXP: Passes ASTM E 162 "Surface flammability of materials using radiant heat energy source." L&L 300 Mastic and 300 EXP are available in low-temperature formulas which offer increased flexibility at low temperatures |

RECOMMENDED SUBSTRATE CONDITIONS All surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, grease, mildew, rust, wax, chalking or peeling coating and any foreign matter which could prevent proper adhesion. Never apply to surfaces which pond water. APPLICATION Contact your L&L Coatings Representative for specific application information and technical assistance. |

CONTEMPORARY COLORS L&L 300 Mastic is available in 1,000 aesthetically pleasing colors. See L&L Color Fan Deck. Free custom-color matching (minimum order required).
APPLICATION EQUIPMENT BRUSH: Best results will be achieved using brushes with hog or other animal bristles. Quality nylon-bristle brushes may also be used. ROLLER: Pressure fed or hand roller with 1" to 1½" nap cover. AIRLESS SPRAY PUMP: Graco Bulldog 3:1 No. 221-061 fed by Graco Monarch 5:1 transfer pump No. 206-393 FLUID HOSE: 3/8" or ½" ID with ¼" ID whip-end section |
HANDLING AND STORAGE L&L 300 Mastic requires no mixing or thinning. Cleans up with soap and water when wet. Xylene required to remove dried material. Protect from freezing. Never apply at temperatures below +40°F. or when freezing temperatures are likely to occur before mastic cures. Discontinue application three hours before sunset. Do not apply when rain is likely to occur. Shelf-life: 18 months when stored indoors at +40°F. to +100°F. Keep container sealed when not in use. Read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets before using product. |
