PRODUCT DESRIPTION

PRIMARY USES

L&L 300 Mastic is a high-build, waterborne, elastomeric barrier coating. Its unique blend of premium acrylic resins and pigments combine to form a durable, mildew-resistant film with exceptional adhesion and flexibility. L&L 300 is a breathing mastic which allows damaging substrate moisture to escape, while protecting against ultra-violet, water and air-flow intrusion.

4 Architectural restoration.

4 Urethane Foam and galvanized steel roof-deck weather and waterproofing.

4 Above grade masonry damp proofing.

FEATURES

4 Air-flow management (e.g. in nuclear power facilities and tobacco storage warehouse.)

4 VOC compliant.

4 Thermal-insulation weather barrier.

4 Fast Drying.

4 Protective coating and repairs for single-ply roofing systems.

4 Resistant to vapor, splash, and spillage of many chemicals and acids.

4 Dust control: Seals joints and seams on conveyors, dust collectors, elevators, and other material handling equipment.

4 Performs as a resilient, tightly adhering protective film when applied to: primed ferrous and non-ferrous metal, galvanized steel, masonry, fiberglass, transite and most construction, insulation and roofing materials, protecting them from the ravages of time, weather, and hostile environments.

SPECIALTY GRADES

VISCOSITY

L&L 300 Mastic is manufactured in three thixotropic viscosities:

4 "Light" brush, roller & airless spray grade

4 "Standard" brush, roller & airless spray grade

4 Trowel and palm grade

When choosing viscosity range, consider factors such as surface profile and porosity, required film thickness and application methods.

RECOMMENDED SUBSTRATE CONDITIONS

All surface to be coated must be clean, dry and free of dirt, oil, grease, mildew, rust, wax, chalking or peeling coating and any foreign matter which could prevent proper adhesion. Never apply to surfaces which pond water.
